    Hi! I would like to find out what are the charges involved if I were to transfer my existing domain (jenlky.com) from NameCheap to WordPress vs if I were to map my domain over.

    I believe if I were to transfer my existing domain, I’d have to choose a plan – I’d be interested in the personal plan.

    Please let me know. Thanks!

    Hi –

    You’ll need a plan to map or transfer the domain to us. The personal plan is the most affordable option. It’s refundable for 30 days after purchase too.

    With the domain transfer, all of your site-related things, are in one place. That’s a big appeal for some folks. After the first year, you’ll pay us a domain registration fee on top of the personal plan ($18).

    Depending on where your domain is registered it could be cheaper in the long run to map the domain to us instead. The domain mapping is included with the plan renewal year after year, there’s no additional $18 charge.
