  Going to build a 2 photo galleries with WordPress soon. First gallery will have 230 photos what is the best jpeg size for a large number of photos?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Most common image sizes recommended in WordPress:

  – Blog posts: 1200 x 630px
  – Banners (full screen images): 2880 x 1500px
  – Landscape format: 900 x 1200px
  – Portrait format: 1200 x 900px
  – Full screen slides: 2800 x 1500px
  – Images for galleries: 1500 x auto width
