Re-publishing a post previously published and taken down.

  I published a draft on July 4th and then almost immediately unpublished it, as it was not finished. I finished it tonight and published it again, but it is showing up on the front page as having been published on the 4th, and subsequently is beneath the two most recent posts. How can I get the post to appear at the top of the page again?

  You can change the date but that will break the search engine link to it and anyone getting to that Post with a search engine will get a 404 Page not found error – the date is up by the Publish button.

  You can make the Post ‘Sticky” and it will stay at the top of the page until you un-stick it or stick another one above it – again the “Make Sticky”is up in the box by the Publish button.
