Re-purchasing domain name

    My domain name I have been purchasing has expired and I can’t find where to re-purchase it.
    The domain name is AUSTRALINDCHILDRENSFUND.ORG

    Hi there,

    Your domain has expired and it’s now in redemption. Domain expiration is a lengthy and complicated process that takes about 80 days. During this time, your domain may be put up for auction or sold on back-order.

    However, the good news is that we may still be able to recover your domain if it has not yet been deleted or purchased by someone else.

    A late renewal fee of $80 will be added to the regular price of renewal. This fee is charged by the domain registry and is not one that we can waive.

    For that, I have already emailed you a payment request. Please reply back if you have submitted the payment so that we can begin the recovery process.

    If we are unable to recover your domain, your payment will be refunded. If you do not wish to pay the $80 fee, you may let the domain expiration process continue and attempt to register the domain again at the regular price, once it has completely expired.

    I am happy to go ahead with the late renewal fee process but how long will it take after the payment for the domain and site to be active again?

    It takes about 24-48 hours for the domain to be restored.

    Hi there,

    I’m afraid it’s no longer possible for us to recover this domain. Since we’ve sent you the payment link the domain has reached the end of the redemption period, and is now pending deletion at the registry. By the time you made your payment on Saturday the domain was already out of our control.

    It cannot be restored at all any more now. The domain should be released before the end of the week, at which point you’ll hopefully be able to register it again as a new domain. Once it’s released anyone else would be able to register it as well, though, so there is a risk that you might lose the domain.

    I have refunded your redemption payment. You should receive the full refund in about 10 business days, depending on your bank’s processing times.
