  Hi, I previously used a wordpress domain I wanted (e.g. exampledomain.wordpress.com), then switched to a random URL as I wasn’t ready to publish the site. I now wish to switch back to using the wordpress domain I wanted, but it’s not available any more. How can I re-use that domain again (e.g. exampledomain.wordpress.com)?

  You can’t reuse a deleted domain, this is very clearly stated during the process of renaming your site, https://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-site-address/
