re-using previous web address

    Hi all,

    I have just deleted a previous wordpress blog, which was associated with a joint account which I share with a friend.
    I saved the content, and now want to start a new blog, using the same name (theExperienceOfSPiritualPractice) but in a private unshared account.
    Even though my old blog is deleted, when I try to start a new blog with the previous/same name, I am told that ‘this web address already exists’.
    How can I get around this? Will web addresses/blog names always register as ‘used’ once set up, even if the at some point become deleted?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    You can start a blog with the same TITLE but not the same URL. Deleted URLs are never recycled.
