  I have added a ‘Read More’ button to one of my pages, but it does not show on the site, rather everything below is shown just the same. How can I fix that?

  You must use the Page Break block if you’d like to add pagination or page breaks, https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/page-break-block/
