Read permission

  Hi there,
  I am just wonder is there any read permission (other than the 5 roles that predefined in wordpress)?
  for example, the user sign up for the username and password, then can we (as an administrator) set the restricted area for that specific user to read?

  You can set the blog as private and only add the users you want, you can set individual posts as private as well, or password-protect them.
