Reader email has distorted image

    Images in posts sent to Reader subscribers are distorted.

    This is particularly odd because all images in the post are set to square ratio pngs.

    Email appears to be using the featured image, which is a 600×600 png with transparent background, yet the image delivered in the email has been reduced in height so that the ration is no longer square.

    Any ideas on why this is happening, how to fix it or if there is a workaround?
