Reader no updating properly

  Hello! My reader is not updating properly, many posts are omitted or show up much later and I don’t get to see them in the stream. What can be the problem?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there!

  It looks like you’re running an outdated version of Firefox. Can you update your browser?

  Hi! It doesn’t really work unless I go to the list of the blogs I follow and then go back to Reader – some lost posts begin to appear only after that. Otherwise many posts are lost :(

  Can you confirm your browser version for me? Can you also try a different browser, like Chrome?

  Hi!

  I tried

  – Chrome Version 37.0.2062.124 m and
  – Firefox 28.0

  They both act the same: If I click Edit the blogs I follow and then go back to Reader, more posts show up which were absent from the Reader before that..

  Do you have trouble loading any other sites? Any slowness or broken images?

  Yes, I did try clearing the cache, but it does not help. Some posts still get lost. This works the same for both laptop and tabletop computers I use.
  The other sites work ok.

  Hi there,

  Thanks for that example. Because of how the Reader finds new posts, it can take more time for a new post from a non-WordPress.com blog (like the Blogspot blog you linked to) to make its way into your Reader. It may not appear right away, but it should show up after a short wait.

  If this is only happening with blogs like that hosted on other sites, that’s why it takes a little longer to see their new posts. Our team is always working on ways to improve that, though. If it’s also happening with posts from WordPress.com blogs, please let me know!
