Reading in Mobile Theme

  How can I change the number of posts seen in one page, for mobile theme? For example, if I have Settings/Reading set up for 10 posts in one page, how can I ensure that Mobile Theme will show 10 posts as well?

  Hi probalab, could you confirm which site you’re referring to? The one you’ve listed here doesn’t seem to be using the default mobile theme.

  Also, most themes now have built-in mobile friendliness. And I’d bet your posts per page would be respected there. So, if you are referring to this site, and you haven’t thought about it already, could I recommend switching to a newer theme?

  Hi supernovia. Thanks a lot for your kind answer.
  I disabled the default mobile theme in Appearance/Mobile when I realised the problem I mentioned.
  Do you want me to enable it now so that you can confirm it?
  Do you think that this problem is related to the “Kubrick” theme I’m using?

  Hi there,

  It looks like this theme only displays 5 posts on the front page when the mobile theme option is enabled. However, since this is a rather old and retired theme I recommend switching to a newer and responsive theme.

  Hi fstat, thanks for your comment. May I ask which theme has the closest appearance to my current Kubrick theme yet including the full mobile functionality?

  All of the themes in our showcase will be automatically mobile responsive. That means that they have a built in mobile view. So, you don’t need to worry about that.

  The problem with Kubrik is that it’s super old and retired, so we aren’t able to continue updating it as operating systems and browsers continue to get updated.

  We’ve added a green beginner tag across the corner of the theme thumbnail preview on our showcase page at https://wordpress.com/themes/ Those are the easiest to set up. Something like Independent Publisher 2 has a nice simple look: https://wordpress.com/theme/independent-publisher-2

  Hi, there. Thanks a lot for these hints. I’ll indeed think of changing my Kubrick theme if that solves the problem. I’ll make some tests with the one that you mention, “independent Publisher 2”. If I don’t succeed or find another inconvenient I’ll let you know.
