real estate website

Hi there, I am little fish small boutique firm that struggles in a sea of Big firms, and want a great and dynamic web presence. I would like to have a word press real estate brokerage website created with IDX integration from all of my database feeds: statewidemls (RI), mlspin (MA), Loopnet, commercial searches, ECPN, (RI commercial)

THe bulk of my busienss is residential purchases, but I would like some meaningful lead capture options and squeeze page options…
the following plugins or features I use all separately, as I do not have a WP site right now…: real time home valuation , appointment setting, individual site videos, CRM tool, integrated.

My present site was designed through wix and I also am considering buying the broker sites from agent marketing. What I like about agent marketing is that it takes the individual http://www.address.com websites and videos and places them on a real estate page, and also has an all-in-one feature for brochure, post cards, and door hangers etc.

IS it possible to integrate all of the features I spend money on, into better versions through word press? They all seem a little hokey and out of date.

    Thank you

    Hi neproperties,

I would like to have a word press real estate brokerage website

There are two types of WordPress:

    • WordPress.com: where the site is created and hosted here on WordPress.com.
    • WordPress.org: where WordPress.org software is installed on a third party host (separate from WordPress.com).

There is some more information about the main differences here:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

The features you have mentioned would need to be added with custom plugins, which can only be installed on WordPress.com sites using the Business plan.

It’s worth noting you must have a custom domain or a subdomain in order for the site to be compatible with plugins — the domain you are currently using on Wix can be mapped or transferred to WordPress.com.

Please let me know if you have any questions about which option (WordPress.org or the Business plan on WordPress.com) would be more suitable.
