Received junk mail from my website

  In the email address linked to my website, I received junk email titled ‘New Message From [My website name]. The email was was trying to sell masks. Not only was it signed with the name of my website, but the email was from ‘mail@[my domain]’ – so I’m worried about reporting this as junk in case it reports my domain as junk, if you see what I mean! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  This is a pretty standard spam technique, I’m afraid.

  Hi Rootjosh,

  Yes, I have done some research and I think you’re right. It’s spam, and I don’t think there’s much I can do about it.
