Received Odd Email

  Hi, I received an odd email supposedly from WordPress stating:

  ‘Domain Mapping on your blog pickleballcentral.wordpress.com is about to expire. This upgrade adds the domain ‘blog.pickleballcentral.com’ to your site.
  Domain Mapping costs $0.00, and it is set to expire on June 30, 2019. This price does not include any applicable taxes which will vary based on your billing address. If this upgrade expires, your site will no longer be available at ‘blog.pickleballcentral.com’.
  Renew blog.pickleballcentral.com
  The renewal didn’t go through, and we’re getting in touch because you’ll need to manually renew this upgrade.
  If you have any problems or questions, please do not hesitate to contact Support.’

  I’m unsure if this email is legit. Please advise?

  Hm, yes something went wrong there. The plan was renewed and won’t expire until June 17, 2020.

  And, the plan includes Domain Mapping, which is why it’s $0. Now … why didn’t that renew with the plan? I’m honestly not sure. But, it’s an easy fix thankfully! :)
