Receiving emails with peoples name and their email with nothing else (can’t tell if they’re a comment or subscriber)

    I’m receiving emails from my site when people enter their name and email, but the email contains nothing else, other than the fact it was sent while the person was on one of my pages. I tried going on my dashboard but it shows no comments on the post or any subscribers at the moment, so I can’t tell where these emails are coming from or why their not registering on the dashboard.

    This site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software at another hosting provider. This is a bit different to a site hosted on WordPress.com. You can read about these differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    This means the support we can offer is limited.

    Are you sure these emails are coming via the site? If so, you would need to reach out to the hosting provider to see where they’re coming in via.
