receiving odd emails

  This might be a simple question with a simple answer, but it’s new to me. Over the past month, I’ve begun receiving random emails, and have never received these before now. Subject line is usually:
  Message ‘question’
  with the body of the email reading:
  [text* your-subject]
  I’ve always had my site emails forwarded to my main e-mailbox. I’ve allowed users to follow and subscribe to blog posts through Jetpack, but have no followers listed, likely because I use another service for my subscriptions. (I have this past quarter switched to MailerLite; that’s the only difference I can think of.)

  Hullo back, and thanks for your response. I meant to include this, sorry. It’s labelled WordPress, but is coming from my own forwarding address: (email visible only to moderators and staff).

  Thank you. I can see these are not going out from our servers. Also your site isn’t hosted here with us, so we aren’t able to see the backend.

  If I were you, I’d look at the email headers to determine whether the message is coming from your own hosting server. If it is, contact your host for help.

  If you need more help with your WordPress installation, consider looking at what plugins you have, then if you still need help head over to https://wordpress.org/support — those are the correct forums for WordPress installations that are not managed by WordPress.com. Good luck!
