    Hi, I am using Recent Post widget on my sidebar and when I expand Visibility section, hide ‘No Title’ tag that I had created for posts with no titles (used for quotes), they are still showing up. What to do?

    Hi there,

    You need to use the tag slug that appears in the tag URL, not the tag name.

    Your No Title tag is at the URL https://estoniansinchicago.wordpress.com/tag/no-title/, so the slug you need to use to exclude that tag is no-title

    That said, I’d recommend against publishing posts without a title – search engines look at the title to know how to index a post, and not setting any title can lead to those posts being harder to find via online searches.

    The Quote post format you’re using on the two posts that already have that tag shouldn’t show a title on the site’s front page even if it’s added in the editor. Another post format that typically behaves this way is the Aside format.
