Recent Posts-Want this heading to appear on right side of my blog page

  I have the Kai theme.I cant find Recent Posts Heading displayed on the right.I would like to see Recent Posts appear on my blog page.I went to Widgets page and adding Reecent Posts but it doesnt work,it doesnt appear on my blog.How to make it appear?
