  I have an old blog that I haven’t updated in years. I’d like to reclaim it, but I closed the email account associated with it, and I don’t remember my old password.

  Is there any way to recover it?

  Hi there,

  What is the site URL? If you ever purchased an upgrade for the site, you can use the transaction ID on your bank statement as proof of ownership. Or, if you still have the activation URL from when you first activated your account.

  Hi,

  Thanks for the quick response. It was one of the free blogs, so I don’t have a bank statement I can use as proof.

  The activation URL would be lost in that old email account as well. I’ll check out the account recovery form and see if I can provide any other info.
