Reconnected Jetpack and lost stats
-
I had a “broken token” message today and was asked to reconnect. I also forgot my password so I requested a password reset as well.
When I reconnected my blog id was changed and I’m unable to view my previous stats.

Was Jetpack connected to a different WordPress.com account earlier? If so, what was the username?

I’m sorry but no, there isn’t a change, other than I now have yesterday and today stats.
I did notice that for a time my 2011 Annual Report wasn’t available. I went back to my emails to see if I could find any other user names or activity that I had forgotten about.
When I clicked on my 2011 Annual Report Link, I first got a message “Sorry this information is only available to administrators”. I had that message for most of the day yesterday. Just after I sent my original message, I was able to access my 2011 report and still can today.

Hm, unfortunately your stats will not be recoverable in this case. We are working to improve that in the future, but we don’t have a way to fix that now.

Well, that is unfortunate. Can you provide any more information as to why this happened?
Thanks for your help.

Basically, the stats were disassociated when you reconnected the account.
I had hoped to fool the association by swapping the blog URLs in our database, but this only works rarely.
