  I have mistakenly closed my account that that is linked to my old website: https://uccsbusinessalumni.wordpress.com/. The account email was (email visible only to moderators and staff) and I can’t prove that it was me as the account was set up in 2008 and is now closed. Can I recover this account? Or get assistance deleting this old site? I created it for an previous job and no longer work there. I mistakenly believed that if I closed my account the site would be deleted, but it’s still live. The information is more than 14 years old and is misleading and confusing.

  Your site https://uccsbusinessalumni.wordpress.com/ is up and running, so the account owning that site certainly hasn’t been closed.
  Wordpress.com never deletes a site on demand. You’ll have to proof one way or another you are the rightfull owner. To restore access to the account owning that site, https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/
