Recover email

  I created an account with the email. Later I removed that account. Now I want to create a new account with that same email, but WP won’t let me. Can you free up that address so I can reuse it? Note: I do not want access to any of the content in the original account. I just want to be able to use the same email address.

  Hi there!

  The email address will be freed up after 30 days – that’s when the old account will be purged. If you’d like to speed up the process, reply to the email we sent you when you closed the account, asking to have it restored. Then, change the email on the account to another one. That way, you’ll be able to use the desired address immediately, and you’ll be able to close the old account again.
