Recover my domain

Purshased business plan last night and cancelled this morning however I accidentally canceled my domain wish I would like to keep but its currently showing unavailable please any help would be appreciated

If you cancelled within 48 hours of creating it then the domain may well be released in a few days which would give you the opportunity to purchase it elsewhere. Or did you wish to recover the domain here at WordPress.com? I’ve tagged this thread to ask if a member of staff could reply to you.

Hi thank you for you’re time and support, yes that’s correct I cancelled around 8 hours ago I believe you are correct with the information you have provided and that the domain is still tied up with wordpress.com and will be released within a few days for me to reclaim it. I do not mind reclaiming the domain with WordPress.com as I did not mean to cancel the domain only the business package.

Hi there,
With most domains if you cancel within 48 hours, the domain is released in a few days again to register elsewhere. But this is not the case with .co.uk domains like superiorcompetitions.co.uk, which you cancelled – while we can still restore the domain to your account, it will not become available again for registration for quite some time.
Are you planning to still use that domain with your WordPress.com site? In that case I will need you to buy a new plan before I can restore the domain – you can buy our cheaper Personal Plan if you don’t need all the features in Business. Let me know once you’ve done that, and I can restore the domain for you.
Or if you plan to use the domain somewhere else I can send you a link to pay for the domain only (as your original payment was refunded in full), and then help you point it to the provider where you intend to use it. We’ll need to know that provider’s name servers or IP address to point the domain to them.

I have just purshased a personal plan to enable me to recover my domain with WordPress.com however I do not require the personal plan only my domain.Kind regards

It appears you’ve now registered a brand new domain, superiorcompetitionsdotcodotuk.com, as part of your plan, meaning you’ve used the free domain included in your new plan already.
Do you want me to restore superiorcompetitions.co.uk, or do you want to use superiorcompetitionsdotcodotuk.com?
If you want to use superiorcompetitions.co.uk, I’ll need to cancel superiorcompetitionsdotcodotuk.com before I can restore the original domain. Please confirm.
