Recover my posts

    Hi, I use my wordpress website to write poetry, book reviews and thoughts for my personal viewing but I don’t know what’s happened to my posts. Is it possible for you to recover them please?

    If they have been deleted, they have been done by mistake by someone else using my laptop and it would be great if I could still have them back.

    Hey there, I’m sorry to hear that! When you remove posts, they can stay in your “trash” for a while, but they are eventually removed. After that, we can’t restore them: our system assumes the deletion was intentional, and it respects that.

    I’d recommend looking here to recover what you can:
    https://wordpress.com/posts/trash

    And if you aren’t able to find them there, you should still get email notifications from your site that would have the text of your posts and the dates you posted. That may help you re-add what you need to.
