Recovering an account
-
I created a blog on wordpress many years ago, but never used got around to using it. I’ve since forgotten not only the password to the wordpress account, but am also unable to access the email account linked to the wordpress account (a combination of forgetting the password and moving on to another email services provider).
Now, I’d like to use the same site name on this account, so is there any way for wordpress to delete/deactivate that blog, or for me to gain access to the blog so I can change the name?
Thanks. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The blog I need help with is eatingpaper.wordpress.com, not the one listed in the post. Can’t seem to edit the original post, though.

Hi alittlenightrain,

If you no longer have access to the email address used for the account, you will need to fill out the account recovery form:
Without proof of ownership, we won’t be able to help you access the account.

We are unable to make changes to an account without the owners permission, even if it has been a while since they posted.
