recovering an old address I used.

I have a site which I changed the address for – ie example.wordpress.com became anotherexample.wordpress.com
However, in hindsight I’d prefer to use the original one but can’t change it back as it’s showing unavailable. Is there any way in which I can do that?

If you did this less than 30 days ago, we can still restore the old address to your account.
But it is not possible to reverse the address change itself, so you’ll need to manually migrate your content back to the original site using our export/import tools. If you have followers and stats you also want to move back, we can do that for you. But any post likes will be lost, as those cannot be migrated back to the original site.
If you want us to restore the old site, please confirm the site address, and if we should move your followers and stats back, also please confirm the current site address.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I did see this but didn’t grasp it initially. I’ve now exported everything and would be grateful if you could carry out a restore of my old address.
The old address was themadnessinmysoul.wordpress.com
the new address is laughbutthink.wordpress.comI’ll be more careful next time I decide to change addresses!
