Recovering an old website.

So. The problem is a little complicated. NWAMI has changed the set up of the company and renamed as Networking for World Awareness of Multicultural Integration and the new board has set up a new website. I have joined recently as an administrative officer and I am having issued accessing the old wordpress website to save the content and remove the website as it is creating complication with administration and our customers. The issue being, as this is a third sector organisation we have had many volunteers who have been with us over the years so we do not know the details of who set this up or the log in details that were used so we can’t get into the back end of the site to remove it. I have created this account so that I can try to contact someone for help or advice. I will be grateful for your kind cooperation in helping, look forward to hearing from you soon!

Thanks. We can’t give out any information about the account because it would violate our user privacy policies. What I can do though, is send an email to the person that owns the site and ask them to get in touch with you here.
If they agree, we can help them transfer ownership of the site to someone who is active on the project. From there, you can hide the site so it is not discoverable by the internet. It’s just a privacy setting. Please remember that they are the owner and under no obligation to comply with our request.
