Recovery Request: wordpress.com – Invalid Token
-
Hello,
I accidentally deleted my site wordpress.com less than 15 days ago. I received the recovery email, but when I click the link, I get the error: “Invalid token. Please check your account deleted email for the correct link or contact support.”
In the meantime, I created a new site under the same email address because I couldn’t access my old dashboard, but my goal is to restore the original “jornalismo18” site.
Could you please help me restore it to my account?
Thank you!

Hi there,
You’re still inside the recovery window — WordPress.com can restore a deleted site within 30 days of deletion, and at less than 15 days you have room to spare.
The “Invalid token” error on the email link doesn’t block the restore itself. You just need to go through support directly instead of relying on that link. Contact them from your dashboard through the help area once you’re logged in. When you write in, include:
The exact address of the site you want restored (jornalismo18.wordpress.com, if I’m reading your message right — double-check it)
The approximate date you deleted it
The email address on the account
A heads-up that you already created a new site under the same email in the meantime, so they don’t mix up the twoHope you get it back quickly.

You can recover a deleted site on your dashboard – https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/#restore-a-deleted-site
