Redesigning an existing website

    I don’t want to buy a new domain name. I already have a functioning website. Please send me instructions on how to replace each page of my present site with a new WORDPRESS page.

    Hello, I’m not entirely sure I understand what it is you want to do. The site at anouchibooks.wordpress.com is empty of content, but I do see a site at anouchibooks.com which is an HTML based site.

    Are you wanting to transfer your site content from anouchibooks.com to anouchibooks.wordpress.com and use it with your current domain name? I am not aware if it is possible to convert an HTML site in order to import it into WordPressdotcom, so I will tag this for Staff input.

    In the meantime, please let us know exactly what you want to do.

    Hi @anouchibooks, while we don’t have an import tool for HTML sites, you can bring your site to our servers by copying one page at a time. You’ll want to use the same page names so the addresses will be as similar as possible.

    However, we don’t have support for a cart right now (like you have on your buy page). You could have a page like that on a WordPress.org installation if you’d like. It just wouldn’t work on our servers. What would you like to do?
