  I designed my current website using Serif Webplus. As this has been discontinued I want to re-design it using wordpress. I want to keep my old website live until I am happy with the new website. If I give wordpress my domain details will they delete my old website or allow me to continue using it until I get the new one up and running?

  Why not start off with a free WordPress.com site. Just type a word or phrase (not a full domain) here: https://wordpress.com/start/domains When you’re ready you can purchase an upgraded plan and map or transfer the domain you already own to that site.
