Redirect 301 from blog at wordpress.com to new domain with wp hosted elsewhere
-
I manage the blog blogprogrs.wordpress.com and I have already transfered all it’s content to blogprogrs.com.br using worpress software hosted elsewhere. There’s one thing I didn’t find in the support forums though, how to redirect to the new blog (blogprogrs.com.br)?
Here’s an example: someone comes to the post (clicking a link, searching google, …) http://blogprogrs.wordpress.com/2011/03/18/blogueiros-progressistas-organizam-encontros-estaduais/
I’d like it to send a redirect 301 (the http response code meaning content moved permanently) then send to the new blog
http://blogprogrs.com.br/2011/03/18/blogueiros-progressistas-organizam-encontros-estaduais/This is also for SEO good practices, so that Google (and other search engines) don’t find duplicate content.
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Search on “redirect” in http://en.support.wordpress.com/ yields: http://en.support.wordpress.com/?s=redirect with this as the top listing: http://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/ on how to purchase the Site Redirect Upgrade.

I was searching at Google, it shows results from support forums along with sites and blogs. That’s probably why I didn’t find wp site redirect right a way.
I understand WP has got to make money out of it. But it looks like I’m gonna stay with a post on blogprogrs.wordpress.com syaing “hey, we’ve moved to blogprogrs.com.br”.
Tks.
