Redirect a registered blog.wordpress.com

  Hi, I’ve started My blog as blogname.wordpress.com.
  After a few weeks I’ve bought a WordPress installation through a local provider (Register.it) and installed it on a domain I’ve previously bought from the same provider.
  I’ve exported blogname.wordpress.com and imported on correctly http://www.myblog.com/wp.
  In “Dashboard”->”My Blogs” I can see http://www.myblog.com/wp as a “linked blog”.

  Now the question is: is it possible to redirect blogname.wordpress.com to http://www.myblog.com/wp?
  I’ve noticed in “Dashboard”->”My Blogs” that under blogname.wordpress.com appears “Change blog address”, but anyway if clicked it answers “This tool is temporary disabled. Check back soon.”.

  If it’d be impossible to redirect it, can I delete blogname.wordpress.com, but keep My actual WP account?

  Like the dashboard says, it’s temporarily disabled. Your account, however will still be here. Accounts are not deleted.

  Whenever the function “Change blog address” will be re-enabled, it’ll do what I’m looking for? Will allow Me to enter an IP or URL so who digits blogname.wordpress.it will be redirected to myblog.com/wp ?
  If so I’ll wait; otherwise I’ll delete the blog hosted on WP [and keep the account].

  BTW I’ve found the infos on http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/ useful too.
