Redirect loop with custom domain
-
I am trying to setup my custom domain with my blog – creativewebspecialist.co.uk
However when I set this to the the primary domain via the WordPress domain section I get a n infinite redirect loop. However if I change it back to my free wordpress.com subdomain then going to creativewebspecialist.co.uk redirects to the free subdomain version. Can you please offer some help & guidance on this.
Many Thanks,
Warren :)The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Warren,
I see that you just mapped your custom domain to your blog. Please note that it can take up to 72 hours for domain changes to take full effect, so you may see strange behavior like this in the meantime.
If this redirect loop continues to happen after 72 hours, here are a couple things to try:
- Make sure you have third party cookies enabled
- Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies
If the problem persists, please let me know and I’ll be happy to take another look!

Hi Warren,
I just set your mapped domain as the primary domain on your blog and was able to view it without getting the redirect loop.
Domain names get stored on your computer in a “DNS cache” so browsers can load websites faster. It’s possible that your previous domain settings are still being stored in your computer’s DNS cache, so you may need to force it to update by “flushing” the cache.
You can find instructions on how to flush your DNS cache here:
http://www.whatsmydns.net/flush-dns.htmlThat should enable you to see the correct site at creativewebspecialist.co.uk. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
