Redirect not displaying correctly.
-
I bought a domain and redirect. When typing in the address to redirect to, I did not realize that WordPress already had,”http://” before the URL text field, so I entered it in again when typing the URL in. It does not display properly. I’ve fixed the issue(yesterday) in the URL text field for the Redirect, but it still isn’t showing up correctly.

You have an extra slash at the end of the URL: macdonaldanddavis.ourwedding.com/
Try just: macdonaldanddavis.ourwedding.com
You can change this at Store -> Domains in your blog’s Dashboard.

Thank you for the reply back!
I took the extra dash at the end off, but that’s not what is causing it. It’s because I had “http://” doubled up, so they kind of cancel each other out and goes to a “http//” without the colon. I updated it yesterday and it just simply has not changed.

It appears to be set properly for me.
Have you tried clearing your browser’s cache?

Thanks again for the email back.
I’ve cleared my cache as well as trying to pull it up on separate machines, and it still does not correctly forward.

Ok, the redirect is working now. If you’re still having trouble, please try clearing your browser’s cache: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
