Redirect old account to separate domain

Hi all, currently we deleted the account fnxworld.wordpress.com which was linked to http://www.fnx.world Deleting was easy, but on SOME devices (completely different ones on totally different networks) still refer to fnxworld.wordpress.com instead of http://www.fnx.world
It’s a kind of unwanted magic. I checked the domain records of fnx.world and everything is fine. It’s still a mystery and hupefully you can help me solving this annoying problem.

The first thing I’d try is looking from those devices but using a different browser. Also clear the cache:

Thank you for your reply. Caches are emptied several times. It’s so strange that on 1 computer in 2 browsers the results can be different. In the beginning I thought it could be a DNS thing, so I waited, because it can take some time for updates everywhere. But that’s not the issue, after a couple of weeks it’s still a problem.

Yeah — it still sounds like a DNS cache issue. And that DNS cache could be stuck anywhere, though in your case, since it works in one browser and not the other, it’s most likely stuck in that affected browser.
Which browser is showing the wrong site? If clearing its cache fully didn’t help, could you check to see if you have any browser extensions that could be “boosting speed” for you with extra caching?
