redirected domain moved
-
I’ve purchased a domain through another host, and then redirected one of my yet built blogs in my account to that domain, to the WP domain. Everything was fine, the wp-admin was under http://www.mydomain.com(/wp-admin). But now, when I try to enter wp-admin through my own domain, I can’t, because for some reason it’s not directed from the WP url I chose to my own domain anymore. Instead it’s attached to another blog of mine. Now it’s actually the situation where the domain I purchased, I can’t use it, because the WP domain I DIDN’T choose to redirect to my own domain IS in fact the one that’s been attaced to it. When I enter the wp-admin of the WP domain that I did choose to redirect, it simply shows that I didn’t redirect (i.e. purchased) to any domain (because it moved somewhere else, which means I cannot use it, each one went their own direction and cannot meet).
Sorry for the long post, I hope you understood what I meant.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The one I originally chose to redirect: blondescriptland.wordpress.com
And the one that it moved to: scriptlandblog.wordpress.com -

Oh please let me know how you get this to work I just bought a domain and am looking for a host for one of my blogs. I hope its not going to be a big issue or cost extra money to use my old blog in a new place.

daphnescriptland, I have moved http://blondescriptland.com/ to blondescriptland.wordpress.com as requested.
sassyfran, you don’t have any Domain Mapping subscriptions on your account. If you already own the domain, you need to map it following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

Thanks, but before it moved I could access it through blondescriptland.com/wp-admin.
I still don’t see the option where I can upload my own themes like it used to be, for example. -
Since your blog is now on WordPress.com, you’ll access the Dashboard via https://blondescriptland.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
I’m sorry, but themes can’t be uploaded to WordPress.com. That’s a feature of self-hosted blogs through WordPress.org.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/
You may use any of the available themes we have under Appearance > Themes in your dashboard, and you may want to look into purchasing the Custom Design Upgrade to customize one of the themes we offer:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/
You can also post suggestions for new themes on our public user forum. Please see here for details:

I know that, but I could before it moved. I did upload my own themse after purchasing the hosting+domain and then redirected the WP to it. I even read that this was how it’s done, and I did. All of a sudden I can’t for some reason. I was able to access the dashboard through blondescriptland.com/wp-admin and now it’s like it doesn’t exist anymore.

That’s because your domain was still pointing to your self-hosted installation. It can take up to 72 hours for those changes to propagate to your ISP.

Okay, but why does it say (in one of WP’s tutorials) that it can be done this way if it can’t? It said I would be able to upload my own themes this way. I did pay so I could have that option, among other things, because it did say that this is the way it would work now that we can’t upload our own themes the same way as before anymore.

I don’t want domain mapping; I bought my domain so I could move my blog and be able to advertise. That was my intent. The mapping does not allow that. Please help before I spend too much money on this.
