Redirecting
-
I just changed the name of my blog and the blog address. I thought I would be able to buy the Redirect in order for the old content to transfer automatically but it’s not letting me get to the old address to redirect it and now I’ve lost all the content. Help! How do I do this? My old address was blogbyflogs.wordpress.com and I’ve changed it to pausesandclicks.wordpress.com.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
When you change your blog address, you have an option to keep the old blog address or discard it. As mentioned in the warnings when you change the address, you must keep the old blog address if you want to use the Site Redirect to redirect traffic from the old address. You can read more about that here: Changing a Blog Address
Deleting a blog address is permanent and can’t be undone. Once it is deleted, there isn’t a way to add upgrades (including a site redirect) for that address. However, you didn’t lose any content — all of your content is still available at your new blog address here: http://pausesandclicks.wordpress.com/
Please let me know if I can provide any further help with this.

Thanks for the info. I really thought I was doing it correctly but soon found out I wasn’t. Good to know my content is still there but I’m disappointed that people won’t be redirected. That’s what I get for watching a football game while I was changing my blog address! Thought I was doing it correctly for the redirect to work but I must have not been paying as close attention as I thought. At least my team won!
