redirecting http to https

My site has both http and https. I however want all http pages to redirect to https. I have used ssl checker and why no padlock and the results show no mixed content. My site url is set to https://. I have even installed really simple url plugin but still both are running without redirection.
help will be much appreciated. -

Actually i could use help with that too. I log in from bluehost since both wordpress.com and wordpress.org give give me invalid email or password answer. But the help tab on my dashboard brought me to here. I’m not a techie so please dumb it down.
