Redirecting old URL to new URL without affecting new design or content

  I need to redirect my old url (byronturnbullblog.com) to my new URL byronturnbull.com. How do I do this without affecting any of the new design and content on byronturnbull.com? Both are wordpress sites except byronturnbull.com is hosted by hostgator.com.

  Hi there, you have a few options:

  1 – purchase a Site Redirect upgrade to point your WordPress.com site to byronturnbull.com

  2 – find out whether you can add a second domain to your Hostgator site. If so, then log into your domain manager and update the name servers for byronturnbullblog.com to point them to Hostgator.

  3 – transfer your domain to another registrar and proceed with (2) or use the registrar’s forwarding service if they offer one.
