Is there a way to reduce the width of content on a single page rather than having to do it for the whole website?

This can be done using custom CSS code, yes.
On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.
If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please contact support for the theme you’re using directly for help with this.
