    Dear Sir/Madam,

    There has been an unauthorised debit from my account of Rs. 1,749.73/- from my Kotak Bank account. I have never been to this website but dont know how it has been debited. When contacted with my bank I came to know about the site. They said that they cannot reverse the debit but instead ask the beneficiary for the refund. The transaction no. mentioned in statement is [redacted].

    I could not find anywhere in the wordpress website the contact address so I had to register myself in order to lodge my grievance as yesterday I had sent an email to support@wordpress.com but I did not get any revert.

    Requesting you to please the refund the aforesaid amount.

    Hi funwithone0104,

    I see from your account that you disputed the payment to WordPress.com and PayPal has issued a chargeback against us. Chargebacks are a tool for fraud prevention:

    Chargebacks and Disputes

    When a chargeback is issued, all upgrades on your account are removed and your site is locked until you pay a chargeback fee or cancel the chargeback. Once the fee is paid or the chargeback has been cancelled, your account returns to normal.

    If the dispute was made in error please try to cancel it with PayPal. Until it is cancelled, we cannot issue a refund from our side as the payment is locked.

    I have cancelled the dispute, I did this straight away so am I able be issued with a refund please?

    Hi funwithone0104,

    Thanks for trying to cancel the dispute, however the payment has been reversed by PayPal and sent back to you.

    It may take a few days for the money to reach your account and show up on your statement — but it has been withdrawn from us and is on its way.

    In order to restore your plan and domain, I need to send a payment request for the Personal plan. Can you confirm you would like me to do so?
