    I am waiting on a refund and am with a Canadian bank. I paid with credit card. How long will this take?

    Hello,

    Refunds typically show up withing 24-72 hours. Though they can take up to 7-10 days and in rare cases, longer.

    I’m seeing a purchase made 2020-10-24 and then a refund requested/processed that same day. Often when purchases and refunds happen in quick succession, banks simply cancel out the charge as if it never happened. So you won’t see a refund because the charge will also not be reflected on your account.

    I would encourage you to check with your financial institution and see if that is the situation here.
