  I mistakingly assumed that wordpress.com functioned as does wordpress.org on private hosting and planned to upload my custom theme for my website. Since that is not possible, I’d like to request a refund for the hosting portion of my payment. I would still like to pay for the private domain name registration.

  I tried to do this through the store link in my account, but I am not sure if it worked as there was no visual confirmation on screen and I have yet to receive any email and I wanted to make sure my request had gone through.

  We don’t pay for hosting here on WordPress.com.
