Refund Information

We wanted to conncet our site with G suite so we subscribed it but somehow it did not work, so we cancelled the service only 2 days after. Now I checked the refund status but only $50 refunded and the initial payment was $200. So I would like to know whether the refund is made right and also want to know why only part of the refund was made.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

For what domain did you buy a G Suite subscription? I don’t see any upgrades at all in the account you’re using to post here.

If you bought G Suite using a different username, I’ll need you to post here as that username before I’ll be able to refund any upgrades in that account.

@slypuppet – I’ve removed the sensitive information in your above post as you are posting in a public forum which is quickly crawled and indexed by search engines. If staff require that information, they will contact you directly.

  • Okay. You are posting here with the username, slypuppet, and if you look at the account settings for this username it shows a Gmail address:

    https://wordpress.com/me/account/

The receipt you received is for a @naver.com email address, which is associated with the username askmagl. This is a completely different WordPress.com account.

As the upgrade has already been cancelled and the site deleted I’ve gone ahead and issued the refund without confirmation from the correct account, but please note in future that you need to be logged in as the username account that bought an upgrade to make any changes to it or to request staff help with it.

    Many thanks to you.

The account with @naver.com was my colleague and he was not able to request this since he deleted his wordpress account.

    Thank you for your support.

  • WordPress.com accounts cannot be deleted. The username, askmagl, still exists. It’s only the site, askmagl.wordpress.com, that was deleted. That account still owns another site that has not been deleted.

Please mention that to your colleague. You can also point them to this:
