Refund please
-
I’d like to request a refund on my renewal, which was debited off my card today (Friday July 6 2018). How do I go about doing this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Can you please visit the “Purchases page” and then request the refund from there.
To learn more about refunds please visit our support document here:
Hope this helps!

http://forkitandtravel.wordpress.com/ is a site on the free plan.
Why do you expect a refund, please?
Are you referring to a different site?
If so, what is the URL starting with https://?You could be logged in under the wrong username account.
If you are not logged in under the correct WordPress.COM username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into another accountIf you are logged in under the correct username account, then did you carry through and you use the appropriate process found here at Canceling and Refunding Purchases https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/#canceling-and-refunding-purchases to cancel and request a refund?

Canceling and refunding purchases
There are no prorated refunds. Refunds https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/ are time limited.
• WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund from date of purchase on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.
• The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.
• It takes from 1 – 2 weeks or 7 – 10 business days for the refund to be received after canceling an upgrade and requesting one.Canceling domains
It is important to know that canceled domains are not released by the registrar immediately. Also, note that there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to use a domain again as it may be sold to someone else. Therefore you should cancel a domain, if and only if, you are sure you do not wish to use it again. If you want Staff to investigate you must provide specifics.
What is the URL of the domain?
Which wordpress.COM plan did you purchase?

@narrandesnidha, I’m not seeing any upgrades or charges on the account you are logged in with right now. Can you log out and log back in with the account that the charge is on and I’d be happy to take a look for you.

Hi there
Is it possible to pick it up off this ref code: [redacted]
It’s possible that it’s from my husband’s account which he no longer uses, but the debit is off my credit card.
-
Hi there, yes, that code works. Can your husband still log into that account? The username is nidhanarrandes. If so, he can go to the following link and request the refund.
-
-
Can you ensure you’re logged in as nidhanarrandes? You can log out here first:
https://wordpress.com/me/accountThen log into the correct account, then go to purchases. If you need more help, respond here while logged into the nidhanarrandes account.
-
Tried that and it still asks me to upgrade when i go to purchases. Is it not possible to talk through this with someone?
-
If you log out and then log back in to the nidhanarrandes account and post here, and request the refund, we can then help you with it, but you have to be logged in as the owner of the site and upgrades.
Since that username account currently has the upgrade on it, you can use Live Chat. We do not offer phone support. Make sure you are logged in with the nidhanarrandes username.
-
I am currently logged in to nidhanarrandes, and still not able to find the purchase or request a refund. The other account where the payment may have been charged to is hashtagjozi, however, I no longer use that email address ( (email visible only to moderators and staff) ) and can’t recover my account. I’m resetting my login for this email account which may take a few days.
-
You are commenting here as the username, narrandesnidha, which means you are still logged in as narrandesnidha, not nidhanarrandes.
However, as you’ve provided a valid transaction ID for the recent payment on that account, I have issued your refund and removed the expired Premium Plan from the site.
Note that only the owner can cancel the domain upgrade in that account, so you’ll need to be logged in as the correct username to do that. I’ve also sent an email to the address connected to that account.
-
-
If you no longer have access to the email address you used for that account, you can also regain access by submitting our account recovery form:
Once you verify your ownership of the account (for example, by providing the transaction ID for the recent payment), we can help you update the email for that account so you can log in again.
You will receive your refund and we won’t charge you again, regardless. This is only necessary for you to cancel or otherwise manage the domain in the account.
