Regaining access of your wordpress website dashboard

(sighs) Between ‘given to a…that does not…’ is the word Registrar. Hello there! So here is the problem I am having with WordPress, Wild West and Bluehost…I do not know who to be angry with. Whenever I log into wordpress to edit the website http://beautyinspirescreativity.com/ there is a message saying that ‘You are logged in as ‘beautzn8’ and do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for ‘beautyinspirescreativity’. If you are not ‘beautzn8’, please log out, and log back in with your username. If you are ‘beautzn8′ and you need access, please ask an administrator of the site to invite you.’. Being the administrator of this website I am not receiving the invite to invite myself and due to this unresolved problem I have not been able to touch the dashboard of this website for two months. The delay has not been helpful nor good for the result in business that has to be taken care of since the website is not done. I would much appreciate assistance with this problem because I have been put into a horrific triangle of Bluehost -> Wild West -> WordPress and nobody has been helping this case. I cannot leave this situation because the person that wants this site done already paid a year of service and of domain name privilege, so please very soon. Thank you.

The user account that you are posting from is not an admin on http://beautyinspirescreativity.wordpress.com/. So you would not be able to access it.
However, the fact that you mention bluehost makes me wonder if you are trying to access a self-hosted WordPress site and not a WordPress.com site. If that is the case, WordPress.com staff cannot help I’m afraid. You would need to talk to your webhost or perhaps post your question here: http://wordpress.org/support/

Hey rootjosh, “beautzn8” is the admin’s username once logged into wordpress.com. The webhost of this website (which is bluehost) told me to seek help via wordpress.com in order to solve this and that is the main reason for this topic. You see, as the same admin that created the site on wordpress.com I cannot access the same site’s dashboard and for some reason I have to ask myself for permission even though when I do, the request disappears and nothing gets done. Is there anything you can do?

If you have a self-hosted WordPress site, there is nothing that WordPress.com staff can assist you with. We do not have access to your site. Your best bet is to ask for advice here:
However, beautyinspirescreativity.com currently has WordPress.com nameservers (it would have bluehost nameservers if you were pointing it to a bluehost site), and is pointing to http://beautyinspirescreativity.wordpress.com/, which is a WordPress.com site.
As I mentioned before, the account you are posting from is not the owner or admin of http://beautyinspirescreativity.wordpress.com/. The most connon reason for this is that you somehow ended up with a second WordPress.com account at some point.
If you do not know or cannot remember the login information for a WordPress.com account, your best bet is to try the account recovery process here:

Due to the private nature of information required for account recovery and the public nature of these forums, we cannot help with account recovery here.

So since the original owner gave access of the website to me as an admin to edit, does that mean that the original owner must be the one who has the authority to give me permission even though they are not able to receive the request?

The account you are posting from has never been an admin on http://beautyinspirescreativity.wordpress.com/ as far as I can see.
Perhaps they gave you login information for their own WordPress.com account?(something we do not encourage for security reasons)

If you go to http://beautyinspirescreativity.wordpress.com/ it redirects to http://beautyinspirescreativity.com/ so it is a WordPress.com website using a Custom Domain mapping upgrade.
If you are logging in to http://beautyinspirescreativity.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ with the username account beautzn8 and getting the message
You are logged in as ‘beautzn8’ and do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for ‘beautyinspirescreativity’
then, as staff-ozmodiar has said above, the username account beautzn8 is not Admin on that site.
So either the domain name is different from http://beautyinspirescreativity.com/ or you are not logging in with the correct Admin account.
Let’s try this, what WPcom websites do you see when you are logged in with beautzn8 and go to this page: https://wordpress.com/sites

Here on WordPress.com, http://beautyinspirescreativity.com/ points to http://beautyinspirescreativity.wordpress.com. So they are one and the same. If the site that you are expecting to be an admin of is not the one you see when you visit http://beautyinspirescreativity.com/, then there is another issue at play here.
And if that is the case, I suspect that you have a self-hosted WordPress site (hosted on bluehost perhaps) and not a WordPress.com site. Because being an admin account on a self-hosted site does not have anything to do with being an admin on a WordPress.com site, that would explain your confusion.
Looking a little deeper, it seems to me that what I’m seeing is that the account that owns the http://beautyinspirescreativity.com/ domain registration allowed that registration to expire. Then re-registered http://beautyinspirescreativity.com/ a few months later. If that is the case, they would have needed to change the domain’s nameservers to point back to bluehost again. Newly registered domains have WordPress.com nameservers by default. These are the instructions needed to point them to another webhost:

So, here is what I believe you need to do:
- Figure out if you do have hosting and a website though bluehost. I would encourage you (or even better, the site owner) to contact the bluehost support team.
- Find the user info to log into the WordPress.com account that owns the beautyinspirescreativity.com domain name. Again, this is probably the site owner. If you have lost or do not know the log in information for this account, you can use the account recovery form here:
- Then, follow these instructions to set the nameservers for he domain to point to bluehost. You will need to ask bluehost support what nameservers you need to enter.

That is exactly what I will do. Seems like the process you gave were the instructions I was asking for, so I will follow the steps you provided rootjosh and tell you how successful it is since step three seemed to be the part the original owner and I did not know we could do.
