regarding website creation

    i have a domain from GO DADDY and a host from A2 hosting. i tried creating a website using them and i found that i had to purchase a plan to create one. is there not an option to create a website for using my purchased domain?

    A2 hosting charge to have a site with them using the WordPress.org software. You could have purchased a plan at GoDaddy along with the domain. The free site you’ve created here at WordPress.com could be used to map your GoDaddy domain to it. That would require you to purchase an upgraded plan here. The choice is yours.
