Register a new domain

  All the instructions to register a new domain point to http://store.wordpress.com/premium-upgrades/custom-domains/. There are 2 buttons on the page, ‘Get A Domain’. But the buttons do nothing. Where do I go on wordpress.com to register a new domain?

  Do you want to register a Custom domain or do you want to add a second website such as mygroovysite.wordpress.com?

  If the first clicking on the “Get a Domain” button on the page you linked to will ask you the address of the wordpress.com site you wish to purchase a domain for. You can get more information about creating a custom domain with mapping here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/add-a-domain/

  If the second, you can add a new site by logging in to WordPress.com from the front page wordpress.com and then clicking on “My Blogs” and you should see “Create a new blog”.

  If none of the buttons are working for you, make sure you are using an up-to-date web browser, such as Chrome or FireFox. If you are using IE make sure it is not in “compatibility mode” If you need to update your browser you can do so from http://browsehappy.com
