Register username for existing blog

Hello,
I require creating a seperate account for my existing blog and I would like the account username to be the same with blog url.
I tried changing url hoping it will work like renaming. So I could rename back with create user option. I didn’t work like that.
There are several topic that staff members helped users manually. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there, have you created a new account to which you’d like a certain site transferred?
Just let me know the username of the new account, along with the address of the site you’d like transferred to it, and I can take care of it.

Unfortunately I cannot do that. Because I want to use blog url as the username for that account and it doesn’t let me register that name (due to existing blog I guess).
Will I/you be able to change my username to match the blog url after transferring, if I create a new account with a dummy username?

Hi there – I’ve created this account for you manually and transferred the ownership of itu24.wordpress.com to the new user. You should have received an email with a password – you can change it, along with your other personal profile details, after logging in.
