registered wrong domain name

  registered wrong domain name- I attempted to register a domain name i own (iwant2bake free.com) and paid the fee on the 28 Apr 2014. when i try and view my blog I get directed to the domain of GoDaddy where I bought the domain and it states: “this webpage is parked for free, courtesy of GoDaddy.com

  My wordpress receipt is number: 5757017 for A$13.00 but it seems the domain mapping is for the original wordpress domain. is this correct (that I may have made a mistake and registered the free wordpress domain I was given!!!) and can this be changed to iwant2bakefree.com?

  How do I get my site live. recently bought hosting from hostgator but not sure if I need it and if so will cancel if the free wordpress (with my registered domain) will suffice?

  Hi there,

  It looks like your domain is not pointing to WordPress.com name servers yet:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/?host=iwant2bakefree.com

  Please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:

  • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  You will not need the hosting from Hostgator since you are hosting with us. Just please keep the domain registration renewed with your registrar.
